I had an active period when things moved quickly. I saved things in folders without much attention to creating a resume. My focus was
not on building a typical career, rather on making the art and managing my survival within modest means. This is not to say that
talent, confidence, and luck have not played a role. It is to say that my studio practice is propelled by a spiritual stance.

Chicago Sun-TimesOf interest are Lee Tracy's big collages made up of fun fur fish on big, roughly painted backgrounds.
With such names as 'Net' and 'Reservoir,' they aim at political meaning, but I liked them for their vitality and humor.

New Art Examiner "My favorite works were those by painter Lee Tracy, an abstract artist who determinedly examines a chosen picture field
to compose images both delicate and vital.
